Description

This is a newly created position due to recent and ongoing growth.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Assist with managing all accounting operational functions (A/R, AP, P/R, SOX compliance, Fixed Assets, Inventory, & Financial Reporting, Insurance compliance)
Assist with a timely month end closing and accurate monthly financial reporting in accordance with GAAP
Assist with analyzing and providing management with accurate and timely information vital to the decision making process
Balance sheet reconciliations & various income statement & project analysis
Assist with the forecasting process & variance analysis
Assist with maintaining and/or improving best practice business processes with proper, effective internal controls
Special projects
Desired Skills & Experience:
3-5years minimum in a comparable position with a track record of progressive growth and management experience
Must have a B.S. degree with a major in Accounting or Finance
CPA, master degree, or advanced certification is preferred
IT knowledge and various systems experience/capabilities
Exposure to SOX compliance and business process optimization is preferred
Proven success contributing to business objectives with bottom line responsibilities
Must be task-oriented and able to work with tight deadlines
Meticulous team player & able to work at times under minimal supervision
Ability to interact effectively with all levels of the organization
Can handle multiple tasks under challenging situations while remaining calm
Strong decision making skills, organization skills, & time management skills
Excellent customer service, verbal, and written communication skills
Responds to requests in timely, diligent, and professional manner
Must be proficient in Windows (Excel & Word) & other systems
