Job Summary:
The Sr. Financial Reporting Analyst is the right hand individual of the financial reporting manager and a key member of the corporate controllers and finance group. The job includes applying principles of accounting, analyzing financial information and preparing financial reports to maintain appropriate compliance and governance for the company.

Responsibilities:
Maintain general ledgers for corporate entities, as well as global consolidation of all entities including:
Preparing monthly and quarterly general ledger journal entries or performing initial review of entries prepared by financial accountant for corporate entities as well as consolidation system closing journal entries
Be the lead in the global consolidations process including data validation
Performing fluctuation analysis and variance investigation to comparable periods and budget performance
Assists in preparation and analysis of all internal and external financial reporting, including:
Monthly and Quarterly reporting package to Management Executive Committee
SEC (Form 10-Q, 10-K, 11-K etc..), Pension statements and other external reporting
Direct interaction with external auditors, including key contact for support preparation and technical accounting research and documentation
Assists in preparation and consolidation of administrative expenses, other income and expense items and various ad-hoc items in the budgeting and forecasting processes
Administers and is key user / reference for the Company’s consolidation software (BPC)
Prepares and assists with ad hoc requests from upper management
Reviews, investigates, and corrects errors and inconsistencies in financial results, documents and reports on an ongoing basis
Assists in setting and maintaining compliance with all SOX requirements for the corporate entities and global consolidation process
Assists in implementation of generally accepted accounting principles and company policies throughout domestic and foreign reporting entities
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree (B.S.) from a four-year college or university in finance, accounting or similar business field.
Recommended at least four years (4) of work experience in accounting / finance operations, preferred at least three years (3) in the public accounting sector.
A CPA or MBA recommended.
Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference
Word processing, Excel Spreadsheets, General Ledger Accounting software (JDE experience a plus), Consolidation Software (BPC experience a plus), XBRL, Internet software, E-mail, Database software
